Introduction;
Many factors are combined together to affect the health of individual and community, whether people are healthy or not, these factors are determined by circumstances and environment, to a large extent factors such as where we live, the state of environment, genetics, income, education level, relationships with friends, as well as family, all these have considerable impacts on health where as the more commonly considered factors such as access and use of health care services often have less of an impacts.
Definitions of key terms;
Determinant of healthy, refers to in epidemiology a risk factor is a variable associated with an increased risk of diseases or infections.
Determinant of health, Range of personnel , social, economical and environmental factors which determine the health status of individuals or populations (WHO)[i].
Determinant of health includes social environment, physical environment, social networks, genetics and gender.
So through the above introduction we have to discuss the determinants of health on how they affect women basing on the following explanations;
Lack of information, education, Access of health related education and information on sexual and reproductive health is an important determinant of the right to health, this means the right to seek or receive and to communicate health issues must be respected and the lack of education together with illiteracy present serious obstacles to the full enjoyment of the right to health. The phenomenon of early marriage, the high rate of mortality and the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS  and other sexual transmitted diseases can largely be attributed  to the lack of sex and reproductive education which is still looked  by some states as taboo, so this led to affect health of women.
Discrimination, Health facilities goods and services must be accessible to everyone without discrimination, But it is not provided like that, this have much effects to women because they lack access of health services and care without any reason, For example in many hospitals in Tanzania women are the one that are discriminated  from those who are working in hospitals  like nurses and doctors, some time they want to corrupt them through services which are supposed to be free of charge, so this is among of problems and challenges to women during receiving services from hospitals.
Low income and social status, higher income and social status  are linked to better health. The greater the gap between richest and poorest people, the greater the difference in health, But this in some other hand it affect health of women due to fact that most of women especially in Less Developing Countries (LDC’s) they are engaging in local and poor workings which led them to receive low salaries (wages) and the work is too hard in comparison to their nature (weakness) then most of them are caring their families so this is affecting the health of women in generally.
Further more the issue of genetics which means the inheritances of some characteristics, or diseases from one of his or her parents, Genetics plays apart in determining lifespan, healthiness and likelihood  of developing a certain illness, But there are some characters some one inherit from his or her parents such as smoking, drinking, balanced eating and illness, but there are some women during their childhood they are facing this problem like getting or inheriting diseases from their parents such diseases are like sickle cell, mental illness,  so this led to problem in women health.
Lacking of support and networks, This means that any body need support from families, friends and communities is linked to better health but there are some people they do lack support and networks good example there are some culture when women did something  which is not acceptable in her society and their rules stipulates that everyone who go against the rules and regulations shall not get support from anyone in their communities. Also others miss integrations from their fellow friends even if she have something good to speak to her friends, So this can lead women to commit suicide or engage in threat groups like smocking, drinking, or robbery, so lack of support and networks is totally brings problem or affect women health.
Poverty, This is the situation where by people  cannot afford basic needs such as food shelter and clothes usually women are much suffering from poverty to some extent. Many women or girls are engaging in bad groups due to poverty and most of them are engaging in prostitution which is totally affecting their health directly because when they engage  in these activities they are at high risk of getting diseases like HIV/AIDS and other sexual transmitted diseases so by doing this women will affected, then also poverty led women to be affected psychologically when they come to be abandoned from that activity and turn to normal situation.
Food and nutrition, food is essential not only for good health but also to life inspire of the fact that there is enough food in the world today to feed every one, many people especially women are suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition, The consequences of this chronic crisis on the state of those affected is self evident, Vitamin deficiency leads to increased acceptability to all kinds of diseases, malformation of babies and growing children, blindness, brain damage, mental retardation, Even death will result from severe undernourishment.
Forced displacement, women are displaced within the territory of a state for various reasons, internal armed conflict often makes women flee their homes, seeking refuge in safe regions or countries, violence, armed conflict and natural disasters have tragic common denominator, they all lead to the forced displacement of large numbers of people which in turn can cause serious damage to mental and physical health.
It is true that some women health determinants are inevitable through the following;
Discrimination, this may be defined as treating some one differently ways whether positively or negatively but mostly negatively, Discrimination is among of the health determinants to women and it is inevitable due to fact that there are some issues that are persisting in the society in day to day basis of life, such issues are like conservatism, such that there are people who don’t social changes, that means they saw women as weak people with no contribution in the community for that means they discriminate women as it was in the previous years, for example until now days there are discrimination in food taking, housing and other activities within the society.
Food and nutrition, it is true that determinants of health are inevitable through food and nutrition, good example in villages most of women are not well healthy compared to women in urban areas because in the village still there is taboos that limit women to eat some kinds of food stuffs during pregnancy time such food are like eggs, this is traditionally and well followed by all people in the village no one is allowed to break these rules and other regulations that are arranged, hence this lead to women to be unfit because as we know that women are supposed to eat delicious food after delivery as these are directed by the doctors and other physicians.
Lack of support to networks, due to poor level of technology and involvement of women in health issues lead to failure in terms of communication or information’s which result them to have poor health for example because of remoteness area it become difficult in receiving information’s about women health from media, NGO’s, and other stake holders hence continuation of health problems to women.
Poverty, as one of determinants of health to women due to fact that women are considered to be vulnerable in the society, the patriarchy system which does allow women to own property and unequal distribution of property makes women to remain poor situation, women have not access to own land and other not removable properties, women are the major producers but at the end of the day after production men are one at the final step which is selling that product.
Forced displacement, is a condition where by people (women) forced naturally to move from one place to another place due to undesirable condition such as to be refugees (resulting from war), and natural hazards including drought, hunger, diseases and floods. There fore due to this, the determinant of health to women becomes unavoidable (inevitable). Also in case of refugees may be forced by conditions like forced marriage where by a woman needs to protect his or her dignity in the society.
Low income support, this affect much the health of women once they get pregnancy they lack money to access the needs such as money to buy balanced diet, This happen because of lack of male involvement and participation once their wives needs money for treatments, For example when a woman is near to deliver she need to prepare money to buy some instruments such as gloves, scissors, sometimes the doctors and nurses ask something from a pregnancy mother so that they can get treatments so due the lack of income support from their husbands will lead to poor treatment hence will affect health of the mother
Recommendation;
The government should come up working with these health determinants to women that means there are some determinants which are still prevailing in the society due to fact that the government could support the community on alleviation decreasing some of the problems like poverty, making easy access of information in all areas, easy access of education and making good environment for  access of employment to all people, But finally seminars, workshops and training should be done so that all men could be aware and being out of discrimination and all those bad treatments.
